Webinar: new forage alternatives for the summer.
The need for stability in the forage supply of livestock production systems throughout the year pushes companies to develop different cultivars to meet the needs of producers during each season of the year.
In the case of the central zone of the country, producers can supply said demand in late fall, winter and early spring with temperate pastures (perennial), or winter pastures (annual). But at the end of spring, during summer and at the beginning of autumn, producers have fewer resources: summer greens (annual) and alfalfa, which often does not adapt to soils with some limitation. That is why the Peman Semillas R&D area works to develop new forage alternatives for the summer and, in the following video, we tell you how you can take advantage of them in your systems to have greater profitability.
